Doctor Dolittle is based on the 1967 film of the same name. Originated around a series of fourteen children's books, Doctor Dolittle the musical tells the wildly imaginative tale of Doctor Dolittle, a very special veterinarian who can communicate with animals. Set in the 19 th century, in the town of Puddleby-on-the-Marsh , England , Matthew Mug takes Tommy Stubbins on a visit to Dr. John Dolittle so that the doctor could tend to an injured duck they found.
Due to heavy rain, the two stay overnight with Dr. Dolittle and listen as he explains how he learned almost 500 animal languages and that he prefers animal to people. Sister Act When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in one place the cops are sure she won't be a found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but in doing so, blows her cover.
