Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code at the Pantages Theatre. For all performances, attire should be comfortable and appropriate for the occasion. The theatre is air conditioned.

Are the seats next to each other?
Yes all tickets are side by side unless otherwise stated.

General Rules:
No smoking in the theatre; patrons may go outside during intermission. No food, drinks, cameras, cell phones, or recording devices. Latecomers will be seated at an appropriate time during the show at the theatre managements discretion. D Kelly

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new production of The Wizard of Oz comes to the LA Pantages Theater from September 17th October 6th. The Wizard of Oz contains the original beloved songns from the Oscar winning move, all your favorite characters Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Dorothy and her little dog Toto, plus some supriese along the way including some new songs.

Wizard of Oz Los Angeles Pantages Theater - September 17th to October 6th 2013!
The Wizard of Oz is the first show on the schedule for fall 2013 at the Pantages. After years of watching Wicked and hearing the story of the Wicked Witch and how she became Wicked, we finally get back to the original story that started it all. Chock full of musical numbers, this high energy show is a refreshing choice in theatre production that the entire family can enjoy. Children and adults all over the world have enjoyed this production of Wizard of Oz the musical. The show's stellar cast includes talented actors such as Lisa Horner as the wicked witch. The huge ensemble cast makes this show very exciting and fun for everyone.

Wizard of Oz tells the classic tale of Dorothy from Kansas and her little dog Toto. Together they are swept away to Oz by a tornado. In Oz Dorothy meets the Tin Man, Lion, and Scarecrow who with Toto become her companions. They venture off to Oz in search of a heart for the Tin Man, Courage for the Lion and a brain for the scarecrow and a way home for Dorothy.

The original 2011 Broadway debut of Wizard of Oz was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award as well as four Whatsonstage.com awards. Wizard of Oz won two Whatsonstage for Best Musical and Best Supporting Actress. Wizard of Oz is Andrew Lloyd Webber's eighteenth musical. Tim rice and Webber have worked together since 1965. This is yet another of their brilliant collaborations.

Danielle Wade who was the winner of the reality show competition "Over the Rainbow" in Canada was chosen to play the iconic role of Dorothy. By D Kelly

Winner of 35 major awards including the Grammy Award and three Tony Awards, WICKED is the untold story of the witches of Oz. Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

Declared "The Best Musical of the Decade" by Entertainment Weekly and "A Cultural Phenomenon" by Variety, WICKED is based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento. WICKED is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone.
